ATTENTION.

This is the main way people divide their thoughts and focus their time. Technology can take up a lot of our time especially with everything going on surrounding COVID-19. It's important to set aside your undivided attention and distractions when getting things done or talking to other people.

PARTICIPATION.

Being active in conversations and including yourself is important. This helps you learn who you are as a person and what you like being involved in. Technology allows participation to just about anything at the tips of your fingers.

COLLABORATION

Together attention and participation allows for collaboration. With the help of social media it makes collaborating with anyone pretty easy no matter their location compared to yours. With everyone working from home right now, technology is the only thing connecting us and enabling collaboration to continually happen.

NETWORK AWARENESS

Technology and social media have really expanded the audience of people we can communicate with. You don't have to physically be right next to someone to communicate and interact with them. Through social media we are open to talk with anyone in the world. our network is no longer limited to just physical communication.

CRITICAL CONSUMPTION

Also known as "crap detection". This is all about figuring out what information you can trust. It's important to not just trust everything that's online, you must do your research and see if you can trust the author. Being an informed reader is a civic duty especially before drawing conclusions or opinions on matters.
